01 / WORK AREAS
Where you would actually work
Ten departments, all on the same floor. Every one takes applications from people with a completed apprenticeship in the trade.
BIEGEN
Bending
Press brake work: setting radius and angle to the drawing, first-article checks before the run.
SCHWEISSEN
Welding
Steel and aluminium, MIG / MAG / TIG. Experience matters here more than anywhere else on the floor.
DREHEN / FRÄSEN
Mechanical processing
Machining metal workpieces to the drawing — precise, fast and economic.
SCHLEIFEN / ENTGRATEN
Surface processing
Every surface ground and deburred for an immaculate result before it goes to finishing.
MONTAGE / RUNDEN / RICHTEN / SÄGEN
Assembly
Rounding, straightening, sawing and final assembly — including building the jigs for series work.
QUALITÄTSKONTROLLE
Quality control
Measuring against the drawing and keeping the record that travels with the batch.
LAGER / VERSAND
Storage & shipping
Goods receipt, material storage and getting finished parts onto the right pallet at the right time.
BOHREN
Bohren
Drilling operations across steel, stainless and aluminium parts.
VERWALTUNG
Verwaltung
Order processing, purchasing, scheduling and customer contact — the office side of a metalworking shop.
02 / APPRENTICESHIPS
Learn the trade where it is made
ECKO trains apprentices in three recognised trades. You are on the floor from the first week, not in a training room.
